In fact, I have retold the stories in my classroom at H.O. Nash Jr. High school and to other children, and they have certainly enjoyed them also. In fact, I am now using the stories and the DVD's of the stories as a teaching resource, and it is going extremely well. Keep producing the wonderful stories and the entire production. Well Done!

And so, on behalf of my fellow colleagues and my younger sibling, I say it is our hope that this program remains prosperous, as the knowledge we have gained and the materials received (via the broadcast and those closely associated with the program) thus far has been merely priceless!

This channel really brings about student, teacher and parental involvement with the channel at various levels throughout this country. However, I believe that behind every great student is a great teacher and parent and they need to be highlighted in some form on this program. Keep up the excellent work. Thane Cooper-Hudson on February 25, 2010 at 06:53 AM said: The segment Communicating with Hands is a wonderful tool for teaching our Bahamian students Sign Language. What is mind blowing about this unique program is the fact that it is one of a kind and it is design to help both deaf and hearing students communicate without fear or prejudices. I truly believe that Communicating with Hands Sign Language Program is an excellent teaching strategy for re-shaping our childrens minds. It breaks childrens negative sterotype of hard of hearing and deaf children being unlettered and incapable of learning or communicating. It is my sincere hope that this program helps to create other programs for the deaf or disable that inspire them to continue their fight for equality and to rejuvenate interest in hearing persons to seek careers that assist special persons. Thanks again Bahamas Learning Channel for doing an excellent job.
